Save the children USA invites applications from Nepali citizen for following position:

 

Position Title: Field supervisor-water and sanitation (wat/san). This position will be based at Bardiya, Guleriya. The candidate should have academic qualification of intermediate in civil Engineer or equivalent with two years of work experience in relevant field.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to the selected schools for implementing water and sanitation (wat/san) initiated school physical facilities.
  • Conduct survey on availability of toilet, drinking water and waste disposal facilities of the project schools and prepare findings report.
  • Design water and sanitation related physical construction, estimate cost, analyze rate and recommend.
  • Check invoices and necessary documents prepared by construction committees of the schools and submit it to the save the children Regional office.
  • Work closely with the health sector and education sector of western Regional office and Eastern Regional office particularly for toilet and drinking water installations.
