Tribhuwan University

Tribhuvan University is the largest and the oldest university of Nepal. It is situated in Kirtipur. The university was established in 1959 as the first university of the country. It is the largest university in Nepal, with more than 150,000 students and faculty; this is the major university of Nepal.
There are institutes of medicine, engineering, science and technology, forestry and faculties of social sciences and humanities, management, education and law. The university has 65 integral colleges and more than 200 affiliated colleges throughout the country. ...........

Kathmandu  University

Kathmandu University was started in 1991 with the motto "Quality Education for Leadership". The University operates through its six Schools of Science, Engineering, Management, Arts, Education and Medical sciences. The University is operating from premises at Dhulikhel, Kathmandu and Bhaktapur.
